ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Â

Responsible for nursing care delivery for assigned client locations.Â

Timely and accurately assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.Â

Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and other tasks, as ordered by the practitioner.Â

Provide emergency first aid care when appropriate.Â

Check and record vital signs, peak flows, blood glucose checks, weight, and other diagnostic tests on-site, when appropriate.Â

Triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call.Â
-
Record information in chronic clinic and report reactions to treatments and medications, as well as changes in the patientsâ emotional or physical condition.Â

Record care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.Â

Coordinate medical services as directed by the practitioner and provide patient education to support care.Â

Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control precautions, as required.Â

Maintain and demonstrate working knowledge of pharmacology, including drug reaction/overdose.Â
-
Maintain and demonstrate working knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition.Â

Notify supervisor of medical or security incidents.Â
-
Attend in-service education sessions as requested by the client.Â
-
Perform duties within the scope of practice mandated by state and local standards.Â

Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices as required by government agencies.Â

Acquire professional licensure as directed.Â
-
May be asked to train new hires and coworkers.Â

Proficient in using and maintaining patient electronic healthcare records and learning AIMM electronic Medical Records (EMR).Â

Acquire and maintain professional nursing licensure.Â

Remain available for staffing coverage needs including nights, weekends, and holidays.Â

Perform all other duties as assigned.Â
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Â

Registered Nursing License and associate's degree required.Â
-
3+ years of nursing experience required.Â
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training required.Â
-
Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Â
